Next year's host has not yet
been determined. If you (and your fellow grad students) would be interested in hosting next year's conference then please submit a proposal to Nate Ruhl (nr343205@ohio.edu) as soon as possible. Proposals will be considered with priority given to those received first.
The MEEC 2008 organizational committee would like to thank everyone who made it to the meetings despite the blizzard and we hope that you enjoyed your stay and the conference. The results of the voting for best talk and

-Zachary Bateson from Minnesota University for "Sperm precedence in squamates: may the best man win"
-Danyelle Dehner from Eastern Illinois for "An approach to comparing life history traits of the central stoneroller (Campostoma anomalum) in disturbed and undisturbed environments"
